Announcement for holding Japanese Traditional Drum Concert

As part of celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Embassy of Japan in Bahrain, in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities will present Japanese Traditional Drum Concert as follows.
1. Date & Time: Thursday October 6, 2022 at 8PM
2. Venue：Cultural Hall
3. Performer: WAGAKU*MIYABI
Taiko ensemble “WAGAKU*MIYABI” is a Japanese music group that performs powerful sound of Taiko combined with other Japanese instruments. The group presents a sophisticated performance of Japanese traditional drums to show the fascinating world of traditional and modern Japanese music. Since its establishment in 2014 in Germany, the group has performed in several countries including Europe, Middle East and Africa, to promote Japanese culture and cultural exchanges
