As a kick-off event for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bahrain, from February 16 to 19, 2022, the Embassy of Japan organized "Japan Film Festival 2022" in collaboration with Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities and Japan Foundation. Four Japanese films were screened at the auditorium of Bahrain National Museum.
