Call for Application: Japanese Government Scholarship for 2025 ("Research Students")

The Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain invites Bahraini students who are interested in studying at Japanese universities as "Research Students (postgraduate students)" throught applying for MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Scholarship 2025.
The Japanese government established the Japanese Government Scholarship Program in 1954.
The program aligins with the Japanese government's efforts to strengthen ties with other nations throught educational and cultural exchange. The Program aims to faciliate the exchange of knowledge and ideas, promote crosscultral understanding, and foster long-lasting friendships between Japan and other countries.
The scholarship students overseas are expected to gain deeper understanding of Japan's culture, sociey, and academic landscape, which can contribute to personal growth and professional development for the students.
The scholarship benefits include traveling expenses between Bahrain and Japan, tuition fees and a monthly allowance.

Applicants must submit all requested documents to the Embassy by May 9th, 2024. The first screening will be held in early June.
