Ikebana Workshop in Collaboration with Bahrain Garden Club

On 12 February 2025, the Embassy organized a two-day Ikebana workshop, presented by Ikebana Sogetsu’s Headquarter Master Instructor, Koka Fukushima, in collaboration with the Bahrain Garden Club. Members of the club were introduced to the Japanese flower arrangement art and explored techniques to transform flowers and natural materials into art, strengthening cultural ties and connections between Japan and Bahrain.

The event was held during Master Fukushima’s visit to the Kingdom, at the invitation of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), where she served as the main judge for the Ikebana Competition at the Bahrain International Garden Show.
