A Week of Japanese Animation: Japan Anime Fest 2025 is coming to Bahrain!

The Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with support from the Japan Foundation and in collaboration with Bahrain Polytechnic and Epix Cinemas, is proud to present Japan Anime Fest 2025, a week-long celebration of Japanese animation and culture.
From November 27 to December 4, 2025, this festival will showcase a diverse array of acclaimed Japanese animated films, highlighting the creativity, emotion, and imagination that have made Japan's anime industry world-renowned. Screenings will be held at both Epix Cinemas and Bahrain Polytechnic, offering audiences in Bahrain a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Japanese storytelling on the big screen.
Screening Schedule:
This festival is part of the Embassy's ongoing commitment to fostering cultural exchange, creative learning, and mutual understanding between Japan and Bahrain. Through this event, we aim to share the charm and global appeal of Japanese culture with audiences of all ages.

- Ride Your Wave – (15+)
- Bahrain Polytechnic – December 2 to 4
Daily screenings at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., featuring:
- Machida-kun: Almost a Miracle (The World of Machida-kun)-(15+)
- The House of the Lost on the Cape- (PG 13)
- Lu Over the Wall – (PG 13)
