MEXT Scholarship 2027 For Bahrainis

The Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Bahrain invites Bahraini students to apply for the MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) Scholarship 2027 to study at Japanese universities as "Research Students" (postgraduate students).

Scholarship recipients are expected to gain a deeper understanding of Japan's culture, society, and academic landscape, contributing to their personal growth and professional development. The scholarship benefits include:

• Traveling expenses between Bahrain and Japan
• Tuition fees
• A monthly allowance

Applicants must submit all required documents to the Embassy by 21 June 2026 at 9:00am.
The first screening will be held will on 06 July 2026.

Established in 1954, the Japanese Government Scholarship Program aims to strengthen ties with other nations through educational and cultural exchange. This program facilitates the exchange of knowledge and ideas, promotes cross-cultural understanding, and fosters long-lasting friendships between Japan and other countries.
